How We Do 512: Saturday, 30 August - The Return of Baby Robots!

We interrupt our summer vacation for a special announcement:

One of the bands I interviewed for the August issue of Austin's only paperzine, INsite (out sometime this week), is performing live after a brief hiatus. I'm also thrilled about the other bands playing later this month in Austin, TX:

Freaky fan flier by me, photographer unknown.

A night of rock and country you may never forget... It's the first Baby Robots performance since live line-up changes post Ten Year High (Bunkhaus Records 2007), "enough to bring a tear of pride to the third eyes of at least two historic Austinites of the psychedelic persuasion: Roky Erikson and Gibby Haynes..."* The campfire freakout of Cavedweller (The Best Version of Gloria Ever There Was, Business Deal) and alternative torch and twang of Silver Pines complete the trip.

Check out the band featured in this month's INsite @ Do512, and mark your calendars with a vote of "I Like It"!
