Another analog synth & primary color friendly festival founded and sponsored by Chad A: (Mutating Meltdown, Low Red Center, Zom Zoms and Oblong Boys) is happening from 3-6 pm today at the Salvage Vanguard Theater. It's the perfect Sunday event I wish I could attend this year, but my time will be spent working on a paying project. Perhaps Chad A: and company will post a video and a few cool photos in lieu of a review?

In honor 4aaasp!, diy revolution is posting a 24-hour free mp3 download of a local synth-pop tune "Bright Colors", by the band formerly known as Things That Go Pop. It's available on their eponymous debut LP which received radio play on KVRX, KOOP, and 101X's The Next Big Thing way back in 2005.
